INSTRUCTIONS

PLUMB Plastering Mortar for Concrete Block is used for plastering on concrete structure. Good bonding strength with reduced peeling off. Contain water retention agent prevent water loss. Smooth plastering and slow drying, better adhesion than regular mortar. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Preparations

Clean the plastering area using a wire brush to remove dust or lime stains. In case of broken or porous concrete, repair the damaged areas and fill air gaps with mortar before plastering.

Mixing

Mix 1 bag of plastering mortar with 9.5-10 liters of water or not exceeding 1 ¾ cement bucket. Mix until the texture becomes consistent withouts lumps.  1 bag of plaster weighing 40 kilograms can cover an area of 2.5 sq.m at a thickness of 1cm.

Machine Mixing

Use a electric mixer and mix for 3-5 minutes until the plaster is consistent without lumps. Transfer the plaster mixture to a tray or container and set aside the mixture for 5 minutes to allow the chemical reactions. Mix again before plastering.

Hand Mixing

Use a trowel to thoroughly mix the plaster until it forms a consistent texture without lumps.Set aside the mixture for 5 minutes to allow the chemical reactions. Mix again before plastering.

Plastering

Apply a plaster layer with a thickness not exceeding 1.5 cm. Begin by applying a thin scratch coat with a trowel, then apply additional layers to achieve the desired thickness.

Precautions

– Once mixed with water, it is recommended to use  within 1 hour – 1 hour 30 minutes. – Contained  cement, may cause irritation if it comes into contact with skin or eyes. – Rinse eyes thoroughly with water if irritation occurs and seek medical attention.

Storage

Keep in dry and shaded area. – 3 months of shelf life.

Suggestion

Proper usage and mixing of mortar help reduce the risk of cracks. Lifting the mortar in a proper posture can prevent muscle strain and injury.
