INSTRUCTIONS

KANGAROO Dry Premixed Concrete (240 KSC) can be used immediately when mixed with water according to the specified ratio. Suitable for general floor leveling in small area and small volume such as leveling column head, connecting prefabricated structures, pouring concrete in ligament or lintel, and reinforce concrete flashing that require small crushed stone. Produced from high-quality aggregates from Portland cement Type I, and chemical additives. Ensure better fluidity, convenience, quick and strong. Reduce air gaps after removing the formwork ensuring high-quality work.

Preparation

Conduct a site survey before pouring the concrete, ensure that the reinforcement is correctly installed in appropriate size and strength, free from rust.  Inspect the existing surface to eliminate any obstacles that may hinder adhesion. Lime stains, uneven areas, dirt or oil stains should be cleaned thoroughly. Wet the area where the concrete will be poured with water to reduce water absorption from the concrete and facilitate easy flow in case of concrete joints or surface connections. Additional adhesion to the existing surface and new joint surfaces can be achieve by using a concrete bonding agent (the effectiveness of the bonding agent depends on the type of chemical used and application according to the product specifications).

Mixing

Mix 1 bag of dry premixed concrete with 6.0-6.4 liters of water or approximately ⅘ cement bucket. The desired slump value for the concrete should be around 17.5+2.5 cm. Mix the concrete thoroughly until the texture becomes consistent.

Machine Mixing

Mixing with machine takes approximately 5 minutes. Ensure that the concrete is consistent and it can be used immediately.

Hand Mixing

Mixing by hands (using a trowel) ensures that the concrete is consistent and it can be used immediately. Clean the floor before leveling.

Pouring

  1. Pour the mixed concrete onto the prepared area. Start pouring from one side and work toward the opposite side. During the pouring, screed the concrete surface to achieve the desired level as prepared. Ensure that the concrete covers the entire area. Allow the concrete to dry and harden according to the standard guidelines before removing the formwork.
  2. Cure the concrete by moistening with water or using a concrete curing compound to achieve full hardening of concrete.

Precautions

– Once mixed with water, it is recommended to use  within 40-60 minutes – Contained  cement, may cause irritation if it comes into contact with skin or eyes. – Rinse eyes thoroughly with water if irritation occurs.

Storage

Keep in dry and shaded area. – 2 months of shelf life.
