PLUMB Water Repellent Semi-Gloss Coating is made from acrylic polymer and a blend of silicone/siloxane, providing excellent adhesion and surface protection. Surface Preparation

Clean the surface thoroughly by removing dust, dirt, stains and greases. Allow it to dry completely before applying the coating. The moisture content of the material should not exceed 0.6% before coating, according to the standard.

– If the existing coating on the surface is clear glossy or glossy surface, remove the coating completely using a paint stripper.

– In case of mold or mildew stains or water spots, clean the surface using an appropriate cleaning solution. Allow the surface to dry completely before applying the coating. Moisture content of the material should not exceed 0.6% before coating, according to the standard.

Instructions

After completing the cleaning process, apply the coating solution using a brush or roller, ensuring full coverage over the entire surface. Apply 1-2 coats as needed. Allow it to dry for 1-2 hours, depending on the weather conditions. Do not mix any additional substances.

– A 1 L-bag can cover an area of approximately 8-14 sq.m,

– A 4.5 L-bag can cover an area of approximately 36-63 sq.n.

-The actual coverage area may vary depending on the mixting ratio and the surface’s water absorption.

Precautions

– Use in well-ventilated area. Wear a mask when applying the coating and try to avoid direct skin contact or inhalation. If the solution comes into contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with clean water and soap.

– If the solutions gets into eyes, rinse immediately with clan water and seek medical attention.

– Keep out of reach of children.

Storage

– Keep in dry and shaded area. – 12 months of shelf life.

Suggestions

– The coating can be applied by spraying or brushing. If using a spraying method, use a low-pressure sprayer for better efficiency, minimize waste.

– Avoid applying the coating on hot surfaces, under direct sunlight, or at temperatures exceeding 50 ˚C .

–  Do not apply the coating on the surfaces with high moisture content exceeding 0.6% or during rainy conditions.

– Applying one coat of the coating is suitable for both indoor and outdoor surfaces that are not directly exposed to water. It results in a thin film and low surface gloss, maintaining the materials’s original appearance.

– Applying two coats of the coating is suitable for outdoor surfaces and areas directly exposed to water. It results in a thicker film and higher surface gloss, providing excellent weter-repellent protection.

– The Water Repellent Semi-Gloss Coating is ready to use and does not require any additional mixing substances.

– After using the coating, clean the tools and equipment immediately with clean water.
