PLUMB 2K Flexible Waterproofing Cement consists of finely graded cement and polymer-modified liquid. Contains a variety of special aggregates that prevent water penetration on concrete surface, conceals small crack, and covers surface pores. Convenient and easy to use, ready to use when mixed with water in the specified ratio. Can be applied directly on concrete surfaces, masonry walls. Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. Suitable for wet areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, balconies, decks and swimming pools.

Surface Preparation

1. Clean the concrete surface that requires the application of waterproofing thoroughly, removing dust, cement residues, oil stains, and any substances.
2. If there are cracks on the surface, it is recommended to repair them using suitable repair materials.
3. Moisten the surface using water and allow it to dry slightly before working.

Mixing Cement

The mixing ratio of cement is 3.6 kg per 1 liters of liquid or 2.5:1 by volume.

1. Thoroughly shake the liquid component B before pouring half of it into clean container. Then slowly add the powdered cement component A according to the specified ratio.
2. Use mixing drill in slow-speed, not exceeding 300-500 rpm. Then, gradually add the remaining liquid component and mix for approximately 3 minutes until it forms a consistent texture.

*Do not mix by using concrete mixer.

*After mixing, the mixture should be used within 30 minutes. Once the mixture starts to harden, do not add any water or liquid. It should be discarded and remixed only.

Instructions

1. The concrete surface to be waterproofed should be strong, clean, and free from oil stains. Repair any holes and pores on the surfaces.
2. Water the surface, ensuring it is moist and saturated without waterlogging, before applying waterproofing cement.
3. Apply the first coat of the waterproofing cement on the prepared surface using brush or roller. Allow it to dry for 2-4 hours before applying the second coat.
4. For the second coat, apply it perpendicularly to the first coat.
5. After applying the waterproofing cement, protect the surface from water contact for 3 days.
6. For tile installation, ensure that the surface is completely dry for at least 3 days before laying the tiles.

– If the surface is exposed to sunlight for a long time, it may reduce the efficiency of tile installation.

– If the surface will be submerged in water, allow it to dry for at least 7 days for optimal performance.

Precautions

– Incorrect mixing ratios of cement and liquid may affect the product’s quality.

– Once mixed, it is recommended to use the product within 30 minutes.

– In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with clean water multiple times and seek medical attention.

Suggestions

– Keep in well-ventilated and shaded area.

– 1 year of shelf life from the manufacturing date if unopened (if not completely used, tightly seal the bag after each use).

– For maximum efficiency, it is recommended to use with RED KANGAROO Waterproof Tile Adhesive Mortar and GOLDEN KANGAROO Highest Strength Tile Adhesive Mortar

– Once the mixture starts to harden, do not add any water or liquid to reuse it. Should be discarded and remixed only.
